We teach and believe that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and all creatures.  Adam and Eve were created in God’s image and even though they sinned and lost their perfectness, God’s love was shown to His people in the promise of sending Jesus to be the Savior of the world.  We are the crown of His creation and our Creator, our Father who is in heaven, has given us the blessings of being His as well as the responsibilities that go with following Him.  He who created us will sustain us until the end when He gives us the crown of life!

Jesus Christ came to this sinful earth to take our place.  He lived, suffered, and died so that through His death we have the blessings of forgiveness of sins, eternal life, and knowing that the price has been PAID IN FULL by His blood shed on the cross for each of us!  We have been ransomed, redeemed, saved, bought, and made His child through HIS doing.  There is nothing any of us could have done in the past, now in the present, or do in the future to have the gift of salvation.  Thanks be to our Father for the victory we have in Jesus Christ to be His redeemed children!

It is truly a blessing to have been called by the Holy Spirit into the faith that leads us to everlasting life!  The verse says we have been called by name!  We are His!  He knows us well!  He knows the number of hairs on our heads!  It is a personal relationship in which we can confidently live each day with the full assurance of God’s care and love!  God’s love will never lead us where His grace cannot keep us!

Our family enjoyed a week of vacation on Lake Michigan in Stevensville, Michigan.  It was a fantastic week and one of the highlights was baptizing my niece and her husband’s son, Matthew Christopher Stoll, in Lake Michigan on that Sunday morning.  We had most of Linda’s family present for his baptism and service and what a special setting to truly see God’s doing of CREATING life, REDEEMING life, and CALLING His children to His family!  May God continue to bless us all and may we enjoy living as His children!

See you in church!
